About the Coalition Against Sexualization of Children

This is not a hate website. On the contrary, we affirm that persons of all gender persuasions are capable of living respectful and productive lives.

We are a coalition of diverse individuals who share some common values. In particular we believe in the stricture: “Do no harm.“

For some of us this is a precept that can be found in the major religions of the world. For others it arises out of an inner conviction that has become a fundamental tenant of our personal philosophical-religious outlook. For others it is an injunction embodied in the Hippocratic Oath, which we have sworn to uphold.

Indulging people in their delusions does not help them; on the contrary it makes their condition worse. Since making a condition worse causes harm, we do not indulge delusions concerning gender fluidity.

Certainly sexual orientation is variable, but genetically we are all either male or female. Pretending otherwise causes inner tension and psychological stresses that may become overwhelming. Authenticity is always a healthier course than pretending to be what one is not.

Sometimes the most compassionate response that one can make toward another person is to tell them something that they prefer not to hear. Although this may cause them to feel uncomfortable, threatened, triggered, or angry, in the long run it may also help them.

Misguided elements in modern society have promoted an ideology that often leads to disastrous results and unnecessary suffering. In our opinion, sex-change services have become a lucrative business for unscrupulous doctors and pharmaceutical companies who prey on confused young people. Parents are often bullied into permitting medical procedures that can cause permanent damage to their children. Solid research shows that most children, without medical interventions, will naturally outgrow any “gender dysphoria” by the time they reach adulthood.
